Great location near the old city square and the center of town 🏙️. This place is unique and set in a stunning spot that's hard to beat.

I liked the quietness and the proximity to the centre of the town. Also the originality of the building, being the old Gild house

All rooms were extremely spacious.
Property was functional, with affable staff and excellent location in a pedestrianised area. Variety of food items served for hot and adequate breakfast;)))

Once a monastery, the architecture is amazing. It is in the centre of a charming town. On the warm evening we were there, the town was crowded with people eating drinking and enjoying themselves. Interesting history and buildings. You can unload but have to find somewhere else to park but this is due to the great location
We had three rooms. Two were good with balconies but the one I was allocated was built into a corner with dreary outlook. They could have done more to provide information about the building and the town. The reading light did not work so I left the lobby light on to avoud stumbling about in the dark

Hotel staffs were very friendly, and the location was excellent.
The hotel room was not the same as the photo showed in the Booked.net.

This hotel is conveniently located right in the city centre, making it easy to explore all that the town has to offer. The staff are friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The rooms are well-appointed, with attention to detail and basic amenities like air conditioning. I particularly loved the private balcony overlooking the charming courtyard. Additionally, the breakfast included in the stay was delicious and provided a great start to the day.
All was satisfactory and exceeded expectations.

Big room.
Construction going on all around the room--scaffolding (and bags of rubbish on the scaffolding) right outside the windows. Poor attention to details in the room--for example, no soap or towel in toilet room; cheap and flimsy plastic glasses; difficult access up steep narrow stairs. Based on our experience here, we will avoid Sandton hotels in future.

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming, historic hotel. the staff were friendly and spoke excellent English. the location was perfect, just a short walk from the train station and close to shops and the main square. the hotel had a lovely garden/courtyard area where we enjoyed a refreshing beer. the breakfast buffet was fantastic, with a wide variety of options including delicious breads, meats, cheeses, fresh fruit. Our room, although small, was quiet and cozy, with beautiful stained glass windows that added to the overall ambiance of the building.
Felt right at home here, didn't have a single complaint.

Excellent location, delicious breakfast, clean and comfortable room, polite and efficient staff, interesting architectural building.
Nothing at all.

We loved the location, right in the heart of the city center near the beautiful church. The hotel facilities were clean and modern while still maintaining its old charm. The staff was accommodating and friendly - they even prepared a generous breakfast box for us to take on the go. Parking was convenient and transportation was easily accessible.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.
